Recap by phillip woo

Crimson Flash had a perfect run sitting better than midfield with cover from gate seven and ran on to hit the front late for a first local win from five local starts. King Miles found one just too good after a one-out, one-back run from a wide draw. It was a much better performance at his second straight run over the Valley 1,200m. Chateauneuf was swamped late after dictating the run from gate eight. He has continued to rack up minor prize money in six of nine starts following a win in October. Late-fancied favourite Storming Dragon made some ground for fourth without threatening the top three after a rails run from midfield. He's picked up minor cheques in five straight runs following a win. Early favourite Eason ran on without threatening after making his run one-off travelling behind midfield. It was another honest performance. Bundle Of Charm was given every chance following a box-seat run but only whacked on one-paced when asked for an effort. California Deeply never got into the act after making his run at the rear. He requires a return to Class Four.
