Horse No 1 SKY TRUST (J161) E C W Wong Shortly after the start got its head up when being shifted across behind runners from a wide barrier.
Horse No 3 HONG LOK GOLF (J517) H Bentley Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 LIGHT YEARS CHARM (K130) Z Purton Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 5 ARMOUR WAR EAGLE (J039) L Hewitson Slow to begin.
Raced keenly in the early stages.
Near the 1100 Metres got its head up when being shifted in to obtain cover behind SPEEDY TRIDENT.
From the 400 Metres to the 350 Metres was held up for clear running behind LEGENDARY IMPACT.
After the event, L Hewitson stated that his mount responded only fairly to his riding in the Home Straight.
Trainer M Newnham stated that he would now give the horse a freshen-up before racing again.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Hong Lok Golf travelled one off from midfield, rushed to the lead 100m out and just held off firming favourite Light Years Charm for a fourth win and unlucky second from five starts. He's got a bright future. Light Years Charm ran on nicely to finish a close second after a wide-without-cover trip travelling behind midfield from an outside draw. Punted late Endeared ran on strongly for third after switching outside Light Years Charm 100m out following a patient ride fifth last. It was another fine effort following a last-start win. Long-time leader Beauty Glory grudgingly gave way after opening up by three lengths at one point. He could steal a race shortly after hanging around to fill the frame in his past three starts. Charming Legend ran on well for fifth after making his run five back and one off the fence. He's improved on one run to the next following a 77-day break. Regal Gem stayed on all right after a rails run from better than midfield.
