Horse No 1 GHORGAN (K199) K C Leung Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 3 STAR MAC (J053) B Avdulla Bumped at the start.
Horse No 4 THE BEST PEACH (H139) K Teetan Shortly after the start was bumped by GLORIOUS SUCCESS which shifted out after making contact with STAR MAC.
Horse No 5 LUCK IS BACK (J398) K De Melo Jumped awkwardly.
Horse No 7 CHING (G380) L Hewitson Bumped at the start.
Near the 300 Metres L Hewitson dropped his whip.
After the event, L Hewitson advised that his instructions were to hold an on-pace position with his mount stepping up in distance from a favourable barrier.
Horse No 8 DRAGON JOY (J278) M F Poon In the early part of the Home Straight lay in when commencing to give ground.
After the event, M F Poon stated that his mount raced too keenly in the early and middle stages and as a result was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Rolling Arrangement The track was rolled after Race 6

After turning the final bend four from the rear, odds-on favourite Sky Jewellery showed a good turn of foot to win going away to make it three wins and a second from five starts. Morgan Success ran on nicely widest out to grab second after a wide trip third last from gate 10. He's made a good impression to fill the frame in two of three local runs. Star Mac ran on nicely near the inside to just place after turning the final bend four from the rear. It was another honest performance. Tourbillon Prince grudgingly gave way late for fourth after emerging with the lead as expected from gate 12. Flying Luck wove a run through the middle for fifth after making his run at the rear from gate 13. It was an encouraging effort up in grade following a win. Glorious Success came up one paced over the last 150m following a wide trip with cover from midfield. Ching was yielding ground over the final 200m following a pace-stalking run. He was able to back up an improved fourth last start on a wet track over 1,400m.
