Here are all the memories our readers captured in pictures ...

Darren Tse Ho-chun, 12, Hong Kong Tang King Po College: The last photo I took was in Sung Wong Toi Garden, a place with family history. With my family members, we visited the garden where my mother grew up and took many photos of herself and her sister. My mother decided to recreate one of those moments by taking a photo of my sister and me in the same pose. Comparing the two photos amazed us, showing the timeless connection between generations and the strong bonds of family. This photo reminds us of our roots and the unbreakable ties that hold us together.

Talya Choi Tsz-yui, 14, Carmel Alison Lam Foundation Secondary School: Our school held the annual Sports Day recently. I took a photo with my friends after we had completed a challenging relay race. We were all sweaty and out of breath, but the smiles on our faces showed our sense of accomplishment and teamwork. The photo I captured was a sweet reminder of the special moments we had created together. We pushed ourselves to the limit and supported each other along the way.

Should there be restrictions on parents posting pictures of their children online?

Fiona Huang Xiaotong, 15, Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Li Ka Shing College: The last picture I have on my phone is of me and my friends on a picnic. In the photo, the food we brought was piled all over the table. There were many different types of food, such as potato chips, bread, and drinks. My friend’s mother got up early in the morning and made rice balls and sausages for us. We also brought marshmallows and roasted them at someone else’s barbecue. This photo records a very happy day we had.

Ivy Cai Yuk-yu, 17, Leung Shek Chee College: It was a screen capture of a talent show. The performance was about some Japanese girls who went to America to chase their dreams. The girls were still students but they were brave to leave their mother country. They held on to every opportunity to make their dreams come true and they were successful eventually. I shared it with my friend because she was confused about her future. She told me she loved playing volleyball very much and wanted to be a professional volleyball player. However, she couldn’t balance her studying and her hobby well. I wanted to support her and tell her that “where there’s a will, there’s a way” through the story of the photo. Therefore, I captured the photo and sent it to her.

Janice Wong, 14, Pope Paul VI College: The last photo I took was in my 14th birthday party. I was exhilarated and astonished to see my mother holding the big mango birthday cake. The fragrance of fresh mango was lingering just above me and my dad snapped a shot of this memorable and impressive moment. In the photo, I am smiling with a large grin and my eyes are sparkling with joy.

Carly Fong Chung-hi, 16, Lions Clubs International Tseung Chui King College: The last photo I took was of Arendelle in Hong Kong Disneyland. Arendelle is a wonderful place with Nordic architecture. There are many astonishing buildings, including a big mountain display with rivers gushing through it. The whole scene is stunning and transports you to another world. Looking at this photo reminds me of all the memories of being in Arendelle.

Hylia Chan, 11, St Paul’s Co-educational College Primary School: The last photo I took was of the mesmerising sky outside my flat window that I saw at dawn. The clouds were tinted violet and rose pink, a blaze of reds and yellows lighting up the sky. With the dyed clouds drifting lazily high up over the horizon and the embers of the sunrise still afire, I felt relaxed and calm. This photo serves as a reminder that there are many insignificant but beautiful things in life that we usually overlook in all the hustle and bustle of the city. It also reminds me that the early bird gets the worm, and that to seize opportunities and enjoy life you have to rise up early and work hard.

Tina Lee Tin-yu, 17, Kowloon True Light School: I was scrolling through my albums, and I discovered that the last photo I took was of my cat looking at the fish tank. She is so adorable and I would like to capture her every moment. Her big eyes chase the fish. As she has grown into a nine-year-old cat, we both changed a lot but the camera helps me to capture the requisite moments and I am able to recount them when I want to. Time flies and everything changes, but what won’t change is the bond between me and my cat.

Liang Zhiyuan, 16, The Methodist Lee Wai Lee College: The last photo I took was of the sunset when I came home after a tiring day of study. The sun painted the sky in blinds of orange and disappeared behind the horizon. It was so breathtaking that it helped me reset my brain. I can’t believe something as simple as a sunset can help you relax. Nature is indeed a precious resource!

Yam On-ying, 15, Creative Secondary School: The last picture I took was of my cat. I love taking pictures of her because she is so adorable. I love taking pictures of her sleeping and playing because what she does melts my heart. I also love taking pictures when she is cleaning herself. I can see her paws and I enjoy looking at her licking herself. She looks so soft and fluffy. My last picture was a close up of her nose because I think her pink nose is so cute.
