Nick Vujicic, the famous preacher and motivational preacher who was born without arms and legs, is back in Hong Kong this month.

Vujicic travels to give speeches on disability, hope, and finding meaning in life, and to promote his not-for-profit organisation Life Without Limbs. He has shared his life testimony with people in more than 30 nations, motivating them never to give up and to find life’s greater purpose.

YP exclusive interview

Young Post is organising an exclusive interview with Vujicic for 15 of its junior reporters on Tuesday, December 14 at 11.30am at Exchange Square in Central.

To apply, you need to be a junior reporter (you can sign up here).

Send an email with your name, age, school and contact number to [email protected], and write “Nick interview” in the subject field. The deadline for application is noon this Thursday, December 9.

Seminar on Saturday, December 18

For the occasion, PMA Music Foundation is also presenting a seminar on Saturday, December 18 and a walkathon on Sunday, December 19.

The seminar will be held at the Hong Kong International Trade & Exhibition Centre in Kowloon Bay from 7.30pm to 9pm. Vujicic will encourage young people to dream big and come up with positive ways to run and shape a better world.

Students attending will write a 500-word essay after the talk on the theme “If I can run the world, I will...” Life Without Limbs will select the best essay, which will later be published in Young Post.

To participate, teachers and school staff can call Heidi Tse at 25217673. Students cannot enrol by themselves, but they can mention it to their teachers.

Walkathon on Sunday, December 19

The walkathon on Sunday will start at 2.15pm from Hong Kong International School in Tai Tam Country Park. The walk will raise money for Vujicic’s foundation Life Without Limbs and last for about 90 minutes.

Enrolment forms can be downloaded from both www.lifewithoutlimbs.org.hk and www.pmf.org.hk.
