On the first day of his visit to Hong Kong to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the city’s return to Chinese rule, President Xi Jinping visited the Hong Kong Science Park to view displays on research and development at the facility. The Chinese leader arrived on June 30, 2022, for a two-day visit to Hong Kong, the first time he has set foot outside mainland China since the start of the pandemic.
