China’s facial recognition technology identifies people wearing masks amid the Covid-19 epidemic

Beijing-based tech company Hanwang Technology Co Ltd said it has upgraded its facial recognition technology to allow devices to identify people even if they are masked to avoid spreading infection amid the Covid-19 epidemic.
