Daniel Radcliffe, Taylor Lautner and Macaulay Culkin have made way for a new generation of young actors – including Millie Bobby Brown, who reportedly earned US$350,000 per Stranger Things episode

When it comes to the most successful child Hollywood actors of recent times, people like Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Macaulay Culkin (Home Alone) and possibly Taylor Lautner (The Twilight Saga) might come to mind first.

Age: 17

Wallis remains the youngest actress – and the only person born in the 21st century – to ever be nominated for an Academy Award, for her role as Hushpuppy in the 2012 movie Beasts of the Southern Wild. In 2014, she also scored the lead role in Annie, which earned her a Golden Globe nomination for best actress in a motion picture in a comedy or musical. Unbelievably, she has already appeared in nine movies, been nominated for a total of 39 awards and won 19. Impressive.
