It's no secret among the YP team that Heidi Yeung is a make-up addict. So what does a beauty fiend, who needs a dressing table, an entire drawer of her wardrobe, and a shelf for all of her cosmetic goodies, bring with her when she's out and about?

Working on the web team, it's important that my iPhone always has enough charge - I never know when I might need to snap pics of a product to share with readers. This ultra slim battery pack is perfect.

A translucent powder is all I need for touch-ups on most days. The Make Up For Ever HD powder is so fine - a gentle dusting leaves my skin looking soft and refreshed.

Before I dust on my HD powder, I always blot away excess oil, otherwise the powder sets too heavy and looks unnatural. I've been buying Clean & Clear Oil Control Film for more than 10 years - it's always in my make-up bag.

Despite being a catlady, I suffer from allergies. Most of the time they don't bother me, but I never know when they'll flare up, so I keep a pack of allergy medicine, like Xyzal, in my bag whenever I feel the tell-tale sniffle. It keeps my nose from running and getting red, and stops my eyes swelling, so I don't have to worry about ruining my make-up.

This slanted kabuki brush by Real Techniques touches up powder without packing too much on. As I can't stand dirty brushes, the retractable feature is a must.

Not my favourite pressed powder compact, but this Revlon PhotoReady Two Way Powder Foundation does the job and is available in a shade that matches my skin tone. (Seriously, Hong Kong. Some of us are tanned! Give us more than just "ivory", "porcelain" and "beige", please!) I usually just press this on any red areas; I'll only dust it all over my face after I've been at the gym and need to replenish my foundation coverage.

Bright lips are my signature look, which means there are always at least two lipsticks in my bag! At the moment, my favourites are Pheromonal (left) from the MAC Moody Blooms collection, and Daphne by Love Lola.

A staple in any Australian girl's make-up bag: Lucas' Papaw Ointment. I use it as lip balm, and sometimes I put it on itchy bites or dry knuckles. I also use it to fix my make-up. If my mascara or eyeshadow has smeared, giving me panda eyes, I just dab it on the mess, leave it for a minute, then wipe it off with a tissue. It removes all the excess product and moistures my under-eye area, then I can press on a little Revlon foundation, without it looking dry and cakey, to brighten around the eyes again.

Daisy by Marc Jacobs is one of my favourite perfumes, and this roller-ball version keeps me smelling daisy fresh - it's especially appreciated post-shower after Muay Thai.

I really don't like my hands to feel grimy, and sometimes there just isn't a bathroom nearby. I keep this mini bottle of Warm Vanilla Sugar scented hand sanitiser by Bath & Body Works in my bag to ward off icky germs.

This Alissi Bronte bag came as part of a goodie bag for an event I went to years ago. I like structured bags so I can pack my goodies precisely (can you tell I like to stay organised?) and it's a pretty golden colour!
