Full border shutdown with mainland China is discriminatory, Carrie Lam says

Hong Kong’s Chief Executive Carrie Lam announced on January 31 that the city is not closing the border completely with mainland China despite the coronavirus outbreak. A medical union had threatened earlier that about 6,500 of its members would strike if the border stayed open.
