Hong Kong to ban all travellers from UK to try and block Covid-19 Delta variant

Hong Kong has put the UK back on its list of “extremely high-risk” countries and will ban incoming travellers from July 1, 2021. The move is being made to try and keep out Covid-19 variants including the Delta strain that was first identified in India. City officials said anyone who has stayed in the UK for more than two hours in the past 21 days will no longer be allowed to enter Hong Kong after the new rules take effect.
