‘Like running into a God of Fortune’: Chinese man onboard flight with sea goddess statue

A Chinese man was a little taken aback after realising the “passenger” sitting next to him onboard a flight was a statue of Mazu, the ancient sea deity. The man is a sailor and felt lucky after learning that the goddess is a protector of the seafarers.
