Recovery workers have found the second black box of China Eastern Airlines flight MU5735, Chinese state media said March 27, 2022. The flight data recorder, which potentially holds vital clues about the accident in which 132 people died, was recovered at around 9.20am. The state media report said it was buried under about 1.5 metres (5ft) of soil in the mountainous area where the jet crashed on March 21. Authorities say the device will be sent to Beijing to be analysed along with the plane’s cockpit voice recorder found four days earlier.
