Taliban fighters were seen taking photos and posing for selfies at Paghaman Hill Castle, a tourist spot northeast of Kabul in a video released on August 19, 2021. Taliban forces gained control over Afghanistan as the US withdrew its forces ending a 20-year military presence that started after the September 11, 2001 attacks on New York and Washington.
