Racing Incident Report
Race Seven: (215) - IRVING HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
MAJESTIC ENDEAVOUR, which was fractious in the barriers, bounded in the air at the start and lost ground.
After this, from a wide barrier, MAJESTIC ENDEAVOUR was shifted across behind runners.
Also from a wide barrier, ARM RUNDA was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.
HAPPY COOPERATION shifted out at the start and hampered RADIANT STEED.
WONDERFUL FIGHTER shifted out at the start and bumped GOOD COMPANION which in turn shifted out and inconvenienced POWER MAN.
HAPPY COOPERATION lost its left hind plate at the 1150 Metres.
Making the turn passing the 1000 Metres, HAPPY COOPERATION and STAR OF JOY bumped.
Passing the 650 Metres, CHARITY GLORY commenced to prove difficult to settle and was checked away from the heels of SHARP HUNTER.
Near the 75 Metres, SHARP HUNTER was momentarily awkwardly placed inside WONDERFUL FIGHTER which shifted in when giving ground.
Throughout the race, HAPPY COOPERATION travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of WONDERFUL FIGHTER immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils.
CHARITY GLORY, SUPER FLUKE and SIMPLY BRILLIANT were sent for sampling.

Super Fluke responded well to get up 30m out after landing a nice spot in midfield from a tricky gate to make it three on the trot despite top weight and a switch to the Valley. He's in a purple patch of form and should remain competitive up in class off lighter weights. Newcomer Simply Brilliant found one just better after poking his head in front 50m out following a handy run as the early favourite. He's quickly acclimatised and will be winning shortly. Charity Glory ran his usual honest race to get up from just off midfield for a placing as the late-fancied favourite. Star Of Joy couldn't go on with things 100m out after leading from a wide gate. He's better when allowed to chase the leaders. Arm Runda closed off well from beyond midfield. He's on his mark but still doesn't know how to run a bad race over this Valley trip. Wonderful Fighter couldn't turn it up another gear following a box-seat run. It was a disappointing effort after nearly winning a start earlier.
