Last month we invited you to be creative and take part in our competition for tickets for Ed Sheeran's concert in March, with either a poem or an image. This is one of the best poems we received
Incomplete
Rain rolling down windows, Gatsby floats
On champagne bath, fast cars,
You can spell a lot of words without ‘u’:
Paint splattered dresses, beautiful messes,
Black keys pedaled, overlooked views,
You can spell a lot of words without ‘u’:
One shadow, two feet planted firmly
On a frosted marble floor, cold feet,
You can spell most words without ‘u’:
Empty spaces, misprono nced words,
F ll stops come and go with no ending,
You can spell words without ‘u’:
I’ve been sa ntering aimlessly ntil
My wheels have been ca ght between r t and r t-
Bogged in the m d.
I’m st ck.
