Kehlani has gotten a restraining order against her ex Javaughn Young-White, whom the singer accused of physical, emotional and verbal abuse.

The 29-year-old Grammy nominee, who uses she/they pronouns, was granted a temporary restraining order as well as temporary sole custody of the former couple’s five-year-old daughter, Adeya, according to new legal documents obtained by TMZ.

Pending a hearing next month, guitarist Young-White, 27, must stay at least 100 yards (91 metres) from both the “I Like Dat” singer and their little girl.

Javaughn Young-White was Kehlani’s guitarist

Kehlani and Young-White confirmed their relationship to the public on Nicki Minaj’s Queen Radio in 2018, a week after the “After Hours” singer announced she was pregnant with their now five-year-old daughter Adeya Nomi.
While it is unclear when Kehlani and Young-White started their romance, the former couple reportedly met because Young-White was a guitarist for the singer. The couple parted ways soon after welcoming their daughter in 2019, as per Distractify.
