Mum-to-be Hailey Bieber, 27, recently spoke about her upbringing in the millionaire Baldwin acting family – her uncle is Alec Baldwin and her dad, Stephen Baldwin – but what’s her mum Kennya Baldwin like?

In a recent interview with W magazine, Rhode Skin founder and soon-to-be mum Hailey Bieber discussed breaking into the oversaturated beauty market, motherhood and more.

Born into Hollywood’s Baldwin acting family, the former model has had her fair share of “nepo baby” taunts, but insists that she “had a fairly normal childhood”. However, she also recognises that she comes “from the family that I come from, and I always recognised that that was different”.

There’s no denying that the Baldwins are prolific within the entertainment industry. But while Hailey’s father Stephen Baldwin and uncle Alec Baldwin are both well known Hollywood stars, Hailey’s mum, Kennya Baldwin, has had an equally influential role in her daughter’s life. Here is what we know about Kennya.

According to Elle, Kennya Baldwin, 56, is a Brazilian graphic designer whose father is Grammy Award-winning musician, Eumir Deodato. She is the mother of two daughters: Alaia Baldwin and Hailey Bieber.

Much like her daughter Hailey, who married at the age of 21, Kennya also wed Stephen when she was in her early 20s.

Kennya met her then future husband in 1987 during a bus ride in New York City, per People. They were both 19 at the time. Three years later, the couple exchanged wedding vows and have stayed together since; they’ve been married for over 30 years.

They welcomed their first daughter Alaia three years later in 1993, and Hailey in 1996. In 2012, Stephen told CBS News that “the truth is, my wife’s awesome. She puts up with me. We’re meant to be together”.
