Actress-turned-musician Kate Hudson seems to be at a good place in her life. She recently released her debut album Glorious, making a lifelong dream come true, per People. Saying “f*** you” to any haters judging her for her age, per Marie Claire, Hudson is living on her own terms and owning every second of it.
She’s also going steady with her long-term fiancé, Japanese-American musician Danny Fujikawa, who she was reportedly spotted with earlier this week, shopping in New York City.

The couple started dating back in 2017, got engaged in 2021 and share a daughter, 6-year-old Rani Rose, per People.

How did Danny Fujikawa meet Kate Hudson?
Fujikawa’s stepsisters are Jordan, Erin and Sara Foster, per People, daughters of record producer David Foster and Rebecca Dyer, who was in a relationship with Fujikawa’s father, Ron Fujikawa, until his passing. Erin and Sara are Hudson’s best friends and introduced her to him.
He was in a band
Before Hudson’s music career, there was Fujikawa’s. He was in a band in LA called Chief that released an EP and a full album before disbanding in 2011. However, his music journey did not stop there: he also co-founded Lightwave Records with Chris Acosta of The Delta Mirror.
