The gossip went mainstream after YouTuber Harry Jowsey took to Instagram comments at the end of June to write: “50-year-old man gossiping about people in their 20s dating, he should be more focused on his wife cheating on him and repairing that than worrying about me.” The transgression is alleged to have happened around the time the couple got engaged last January.
While the couple have yet to address the unsubstantiated rumours head-on, it seems Viall may have subtly responded to the online drama during a recent discussion.
He continued, “I don’t read my own press. I don’t read my comments. I’m not on Reddit – I actively stay off of it – and I’m just unaware of things that people say.”
