- Blackpink’s loyal fan base follows the group’s every move, including where they eat and drink – so it’s no surprise that when Thai rapper Lisa eats out in Bangkok, people pay attention
- The stunning views at the Banyan Tree weren’t lost on the group when they visited, but Lisa has been spotted at small independent spots too, including Bitterman, Cafe Thieves and Akirart Cafe Studio
Wherever Blackpink goes, a loyal band of “Blinks” usually follow.
The hugely successful K-pop girl group, comprised of Jisoo, Rosé, Jennie and Lisa, has inspired a cultlike fan base from day one – a fan base that keeps track of their every move.

And that extends to watching where they eat, sleep and play, too. For Lalisa Manobal – aka Lisa – becoming an icon in her home country of Thailand was inevitable once she reached global fame. In fact, if the 25-year-old pays a visit to a restaurant there, they see their bookings sky rocket.

But sometimes, people take it too far. In 2020, when Lisa stopped by MQQN Cafe in Bangkok, the owner was accused of exploiting her fame by trying to sell the napkins, cup, spoon and even toilet seat used by the rapper during her visit. This drew backlash from netizens who claimed the owner’s actions were “disgusting” and a violation of Lisa’s privacy. The controversial cafe has since closed its doors.

Thankfully, such cynical cashing in by restaurant owners is rare, and most are simply grateful to have such a talented musician in their presence. So, where does Blackpink’s Lisa dine when she’s in Bangkok? We look at some of her known favourites.
