The two got engaged towards the end of season one and, somewhere while filming season two, the couple ended up getting married. Chèrie Chan and her now-husband, Jessey Lee, previously told TMZ that they wouldn’t be returning for season two, but fans were delighted when they did in fact turn up during the first episode itself.
But the celebration was cut short when Chan exited the series abruptly without any explanation for her actions amid rumours of Lee having another wife and kids. The start of a romance
Fans saw Chan make her entrance into the series in episode two of season one, sporting a full pregnant belly while already having another toddler with Lee.
The couple’s whirlwind romance started way before the couple graced the screen on Netflix’s Bling Empire though. While it’s unclear when their love life together exactly started (fans speculate it was around 2015), they’ve mentioned on Bling Empire that their first daughter was born in July 2016.
