Help! I haven’t made progress on piano and my mum is making me feel worse

I would choose the poet Li Bai because I love his poetry so much. The style of his poems is really unique, and their mood is strangely romantic. I would be very happy if he could recite his poems to me.

Leung Chui-yi, 13, Shatin Tsung Tsin Secondary School

I’d choose Leonardo da Vinci to haunt my room. I want to know the truth and secrets behind his painting and ask him questions like, “Who is Mona Lisa?” There is so much I could learn from his ghost and it would just be so cool to meet a famous artist from the Renaissance.

No place I’d rather be

I’d want it to be Wilt Chamberlain, the famous NBA player who died in 1999. He set a lot of records – like scoring a record 100 points in an NBA game – and is considered one of the greatest players in history. I would feel safe and protected if he was guarding my room. Maybe I could even learn a few basketball tricks from him.

Lau Cheuk-hin, 16, STFA Seaward Woo College

I’d want Albert Einstein to visit me. He is one of the smartest scientists in history. He made some discoveries that changed the world and I admire him for that. Although his messy hair might make him look scary to most people, I wouldn’t be afraid. Perhaps, if I were lucky enough, I could watch him do some experiments. I have always wanted to be as smart as Einstein. If he was haunting my room, maybe I could be!

Ying Lok-sze, 13, SKH Tsang Shui Tim Secondary School

I’d like it to be the Chinese Emperor Qin Shi Huang. He was very smart and did a lot for his country. Although he only ruled China for a short time, he accomplished a lot, including building the Great Wall of China, and standardising the Chinese units of measurement. He was even able to conquer all of the warring states. I want to know how his mind works and ask him how to become a powerful person, because I am interested in that.

Which font suits your personality best?

I’d want Napoleon Bonaparte to haunt my room because I am curious to know his actual height. Some people say he was around 167cm, while others say he was only 157cm. I would like to know which is correct.

Chau Sik-kiu, 15, Carmel Pak U Secondary School

Isaac Newton. He was an incredible physicist, mathematician, astronomer, and philosopher – and he invented the reflecting telescope. His research had a big impact on the world and changed people’s lives. His IQ was 290, which makes him a genius. I want to be a genius, too.

Aiden Zhong, 15, Ng Yuk Secondary School

I’d choose Alexander Fleming. I like him a lot because he discovered penicillin, which we can use to cure various infectious diseases. It saved many lives during the first world war. What’s amazing is that Fleming discovered the antibiotic by accident, and went on to win a Nobel Prize for it.

What's the perfect piece of art for your room?

I’d love the chance to talk to William Shakespeare. Although he died many years ago, he is still a very famous poet and playwright, and is often said to be the greatest writer of the English language. His creativity and writing skill never ceases to amaze me. I’d definitely ask him to help me improve my writing.

Leo Cheng, 16, Fung Kai No. 1 Secondary School

I’d choose Michael Jackson, because he was a really talented singer, dancer, and songwriter. I’ve heard a lot of his songs, but my two favourites are You Are Not Alone and Heal The World. I would really like to learn about music from him. If I met his ghost, I would be able to watch him perform live. Perhaps we could even write a song together.
