TROUBLE IN RUNNING

LEEDOX (J154) jumped awkwardly, shifted in and made contact with a runner - Race 587.

LET'S DO IT (E132) shortly after the start was checked when crowded. From the 400M until the 250M was held up for clear running - Race 607.

GOLDEN RISE (H242) for a short distance near the 400M was held up for clear running and was shifted out to secure clear running. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 584.

HAPPY DAILY (E294) lay out on the Home Turn. After the race, rider reported that from a wide barrier he was instructed to take up a forward position. Trainer confirmed the instructions and stated that he issued such instructions on the basis that the horse had barrier trialed well on 9 April 2024 when it led and also he expected the pace of the event not to be quick in the early stages - Race 599.

GIANT LEAP (J143) approaching the 400M was held up for clear running when endeavouring to improve into a narrow run. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 564.

NEVER PETER OUT (J200) after the 900M improved to the inside of a runner and then was steadied when momentarily crowded by that runner - Race 586.

SOARING BRONCO (J162) raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event - Race 604.

YEE CHEONG RAIDER (J176) shortly after the start raced in restricted room - Race 586.

YOUNG HORIZON (G272) near the 500M raced in restricted room - Race 580.

SUPER UNICORN (H481) shortly after the start was bumped and became unbalanced. In the middle stages raced keenly and after the 1000M got its head up when being steadied away from a runner. Approaching the 300M was steadied and shifted out to obtain clear running - Race 599.

WINNING TURN (J163) lay out on the Home Turn and made contact with a runner - Race 599.
