PHILIP WOO’S FORMLINE
Prince Of Porty ran on nicely from towards the rear to finish third over the straight 1,000m and he will appreciate today's longer trip. Lo Pan Spirit needs to defy a rise in weight after wearing down the good benchmark Class Four performer Awesome Treasure for a debut win over this C&D last month. Strathpeffer is still a maiden but has filled the frame in four of his past six starts over this C&D and is a light weight chance. Lucky Symphony might be ready to tackle the 1,200m now after a rallying second wearing a hood and pacifiers at his initial straight 1,000m run in March. He can place.
TROUBLE IN RUNNING
SUPERSONIC (J192) crowded at the start - Race 581.
LUCKY SYMPHONY (J089) shifted in on jumping and was bumped - Race 583.
SKY PROPHET (J095) on jumping was crowded and then in the early stages was shifted across behind runners from a wide barrier. Approaching the 900M shifted out when being steadied away from a runner - Race 263.
CIRCUIT TEN (G429) when racing in a four wide position without cover was ridden forward after the 700M to obtain a three wide position, however, remained racing without cover - Race 584.
HERO WARRIOR (J006) from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 468.
HAYDAY (H321) near the 250M was shifted to the outside of the riderless runner to continue into clear running - Race 582.
STRATHPEFFER (H095) shifted out on jumping and was bumped on the hindquarters - Race 548.
SPEEDY FORTUNE (H097) post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 504.
TRACKWORK HIGHLIGHT
Circuit Maximus was slow to begin but ran on well to win his latest 1,200m turf trial at Conghua.
