Recap by phillip woo

Sun Of Makfi weaved run near the inside to win going away near the 100m after a patient ride two from the rear. It was his first win on the surface. M M Nebula ran on well for second settling fourth last from a wide draw. He's done very little wrong in three all-weather track runs in Class Five this term. Favourite Charming Steed was given every chance after hitting the front 300m out following a speed-tracking run on the fence but found a couple too strong in the end. He's gone well in both course and distance runs. Chiron ran on steadily to fill the frame after getting held up for a run until the 220m travelling behind midfield on the fence. He should have finished a bit closer. Green Laser got going late to finish next best without threatening the top four travelling one from the rear. He's going better on the turf this season. Dragon Delight just held his ground after a handy run along the fence. He's better suited on the turf. Get The Monies only plodded over the last 100m after getting all favours prominent with cover.
