Race One : (379) - FENWICK HANDICAP - Class 5 - 2200Meters
Horse No 1 PALACE PAL (G172) H Bowman A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 3 AI ONE (E139) L Ferraris From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 4 M M NEBULA (G279) Z Purton After the race, Z Purton reported that his mount raced keenly in the lead.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Before being allowed to race again, M M NEBULA will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 6 HAPPY HERO (G322) K Teetan Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 7 FORTUNE TRIPLE (D274) M Chadwick Near the 250 Metres became unbalanced after making contact with JOYFUL CHAMPION when held up for clear running between JOYFUL CHAMPION and GOLDEN FAIRY.
Then raced tight to the inside of GOLDEN FAIRY until near the 100 Metres.
Horse No 8 DIAMOND WINNER (H285) A Hamelin Bumped at the start.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 10 GREEN LASER (E409) M L Yeung After the race, M L Yeung reported that after making contact with DIAMOND WINNER on the Home Turn, GREEN LASER did not finish the race off from that point.
Horse No 11 JOYFUL CHAMPION (G072) L Hewitson Shifted out, was bumped and became unbalanced.
Near the 250 Metres was bumped on a number of occasions and became unbalanced.
After the race, L Hewitson reported that, in his opinion, his mount did not run out the 2200 Metres of tonight's event.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 12 GOLDEN FAIRY (E448) A Badel Sent for sampling post-race.

After tracking the speed along the inside in third, Golden Fairy got up in deep stretch to score a first win at his 14th start. He took advantage of the light weight after showing improvement for fourths in two prior starts. Happy Hero ran on nicely with one wider out to finish a close second after biding his time four from the rear. He had raced reasonably well in two of his past four starts after winning two of his first three starts this term. Well-backed Loyal Ambition grudgingly gave way after claiming the lead from M M Nebula following a speed-tracking run on the fence. It was a good effort after tracking a strong pace. Favourite Diamond Winner finished reasonably well through the middle to take fourth after a one-off trip from behind midfield. He's been racing well without winning in his past four starts. Fortune Triple ran on well near the inside to finish next best after pushing Joyful Champion aside near the 100m. He's produced mixed results in four starts after a win in November. Ai One ran on without threatening down the outside after settling at the rear from gate 12.
