Horse No 1 SETANTA (G095) L Hewitson A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 3 SUPERB KID (H298) H Bowman Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 FUN N GLORY (G003) C Y Ho After the race, C Y Ho reported that it was not his intention to lead today and the preference was to obtain a position off the speed with cover, but he was obliged to continue to go forward to avoid racing wide.
Horse No 5 PRIME MORTAR (G328) M Chadwick From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 7 FURY AND GOLD (H202) K De Melo Slow to begin and was then hampered by TAKE ACTION which shifted out after making contact with LUCKY PLANET.
Horse No 8 TAKE ACTION (J098) B Avdulla Held up for clear running over the final 100 Metres.
Horse No 9 FREE FOAL (E065) K C Leung A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils.
Horse No 10 SUNLIGHT POWER (H244) H Bentley From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Raced wide and without cover throughout the event.
Lay in in the Home Straight.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 11 CIRCUIT NINE (G140) A Atzeni Held up for clear running from after passing the 400 Metres until near the 300 Metres.
After the race, A Atzeni reported that after his mount jumped well, he was able to take up a more forward position than normal.
Horse No 14 LUCKY PLANET (H235) K Teetan A little slow to begin and was then crowded for room between TAKE ACTION and FREE FOAL which shifted out at the start.
Over-raced in the early and middle stages.
Passing the 100 Metres raced tight between COMPASSION SPIRIT and GOLDEN BULL which was laying in.
Sent for sampling post-race.

Super Kid quickened nicely down the outside to claim victory 30m out after a patient ride. He relished the downgrade after going all right in two of three prior starts in Class Three. Sunlight Power found one just too good after surging to the front just under the 100m following a wide trip travelling fourth last from gate 14. He had finished in the mix in two of his opening four starts this term. Circuit Nine stayed on nicely for a placing after a ducking-and-weaving run following a rails run from midfield. He's produced mixed results in five starts this term. Golden Bull knocked up later after briefly hitting the front 100m out after a one-off trip from behind midfield. He keeps promising without saluting. Fun N Glory gradually faded after finding the lead from gate nine. He's not far off a rating bottom. Second favourite Compassion Spirit had his chance after a prominent run one off the fence but only plodded when asked for more. He's in the right grade but age is catching up with him. Favourite Lucky Planet's effort was only brief after a one-off effort from just worse than midfield. He couldn't build on back-to-back placings.
