Recap by phillip woo

Favourite Winning Data responded well to get up 100m out from just worse than midfield and one off the fence for a second straight win and a second following a return to blinkers. Jumbo Fortune ran on nicely for second after making his run three from the rear after following a tardy start. It was a good run following a downgrade. Eighty Light Years just took third by a lip after prompting the pace from gate 10. He can breakthrough at any moment with placings in both starts this term. Fun N Glory just failed to place after moving to the lead 350m out following a rails run behind the leading pair. He's in the right grade but is better suited over 1,200m. Po On Way ran on well to finish next best after making his run five back on the fence. It was a typical performance effort but he's still lightly raced. Ariel stayed on one paced after a handy run. He couldn't lift despite a gear change. Punted late Star Club peaked on his run 100m out after a one-off run with cover from behind midfield. The step up to 1,400m backfired after a 1,200m win.
