Race Eight : (230) - LONGINES INTERNATIONAL JOCKEYS' CHAMPIONSHIP (HANDICAP)- 4TH LEG - Class 3 - 1200Meters
Horse No 2 LUCKY ARCHANGEL (E385) L Hewitson A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 3 SINBA (H091) H Doyle Bumped on jumping and then crowded shortly after the start.
Over the concluding stages was checked when crowded between LUCKY ARCHANGEL which was giving ground and SOLAR PARTNER (R Moore) which shifted to the inside of SUGAR SUGAR when placed close to the heels of that runner.
R Moore was advised to exercise more care.
After the race, H Doyle stated that her mount hung in throughout the event and on straightening was shifted to the inside to secure clear running.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 4 SOLID IMPACT (E447) B Murzabayev Crowded on jumping.
Horse No 5 TOMODACHI KOKOROE (H303) C Y Ho Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 7 BEAUTY GLORY (E459) Y Kawada Shifted out on jumping, was bumped on the hindquarters and became unbalanced.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 9 GAMEPLAYER ELITE (H356) J McDonald Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 11 KAHOLO ANGEL (H216) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 12 SOLAR PARTNER (E364) R Moore Jumped only fairly and was bumped shortly after the start.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have sustained an abrasion to its right hind leg.

Tomodachi Kokoroe cleared to the lead 900m out and kept on gamely for his second success from his past three starts over Happy Valley's 1,200m. He should remain in this grade and could win again. Kaholo Angel stayed on nicely for second after his prominent run. It was a solid performance despite his post-victory rise in class and switch to Happy Valley. Well-backed Toronado Phantom ran on nicely for third after travelling on the rail behind midfield. He is racing well without winning. Gameplayer Elite ran on steadily for fourth after his midfield trip one off the fence. It was another honest effort. Solid Impact came from last to finish the next best. He backed up his pleasing last-start fourth at Sha Tin. Sugar Sugar had his chance after tracking the speed from the outside gate. Lightning Bolt made some ground without threatening the placegetters. He has found things harder in his past two starts after winning two races on the trot. Lucky Archangel found nothing after handing up the lead and travelling in the box seat. He did not cope carrying more weight following his third consecutive triumph.
