Recap by phillip woo

Plunged late Mugen showed a good turn of foot to overhaul Beauty Waves in deep stretch after a patient ride third last for a first win at his third local start. Beauty Waves wouldn't go down without a fight after easily finding the front from widest draw. He's made a good impression in both starts and will be saluting shortly. Favourite Moduleconstruction ran on steadily to finish a close third after a handy run on the fence. It was another good run carrying more weight following a win. Toronado Phantom ran on steadily from behind midfield to finish a clear cut fourth. He's racing well without winning. Speed Sword ran on well to finish a long way off the top four after getting held up for a run until the 200m settling last coming to the final bend. It was a pleasing run on his local debut. Jolly Companion stayed on all right after a one-off run from midfield. It was a positive effort on his first run in Hong Kong. Super Win Dragon dashed late to finish next best ridden near last from gate 11. He rarely produces a bad run.
