Racing Incident Report
Race Seven: (527) - THE CUHK ALUMNI CUP (HANDICAP) - Class 3 - 1200Meters
TIGER LEGEND was slow to begin and then was crowded between EXCELLENT FIGHTER and SETANTA which was taken out by COLOURFUL EMPEROR.
From the outside barriers, SUPERB BOY and BEAUTY INSPIRE were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Near the 800 Metres, BEAUTY INSPIRE commenced to race keenly and shifted out when being steadied away from SUPERB BOY.
Over the concluding stages, SUPERB BOY was steadied away from ROMAN TURBO which shifted out slightly.
A veterinary inspection of WINGS OF WAR and SETANTA immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
EXCELLENT FIGHTER and MARK THE MOMENT were sent for sampling.

Favourite Excellent Fighter took a while to wind up but eventually got going to get up 60m out after a one-out, one-back run for a third win from five starts. He was able to continue his winning ways up in grade off a light weight. Mark The Moment found one too good after hitting the front 200m out following a box seat run. Victory Moments ran on nicely to nearly grab second after a one off run from behind midfield. He appreciated the rise in trip. Roman Turbo dashed late to fill the frame after a one off run from behind midfield. It was his best run from six starts this term and will appeal to punters if he finds his way into Class Four. Beauty Inspire dashed late to finish next best after fading back to near last from gate 12. He's shown flashes of ability in his four starts but is still settling in. Superb Boy ran on without menacing ridden fourth last from a wide draw. It was an OK effort trying a longer trip after a win and third from four starts over the straight 1,000m. Ace One held his ground from midfield. Colourful Emperor was stopping 100m out after getting his own way in front from gate three. He needed his first local start.
