Racing Incident Report
Race Seven: (432) - TVB POK OI CHARITY SHOW HANDICAP - Class 2 - 1000Meters
WINNER METHOD shifted out at the start and bumped IMA SINGLE MAN.
WHIZZ KID jumped awkwardly and made contact with the left side of its barrier and shortly after shifted out and bumped METRO WARRIOR.
FAMILY FOLKS and TRILLION WIN bumped at the start.
Near the 600 Metres, METRO WARRIOR shifted out slightly and after being corrected by its rider, S De Sousa, then shifted in and became unbalanced.
Approaching the 150 Metres, METRO WARRIOR again shifted in, resulting in FAMILY FOLKS, which was positioned to that runner's inside, being eased away from the heels of METRO WARRIOR.
WINNING DREAMER was inclined to lay in for the majority of the event.
After the race, Z Purton was not able to offer any explanation for the disappointing performance of PING HAI GALAXY.
A veterinary inspection of PING HAI GALAXY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of IMA SINGLE MAN and WHIZZ KID immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
CARROLL STREET and TRILLION WIN were sent for sampling.

Firming favourite Carroll Street just out-duelled Trillion Win after surging to the lead below the 200m travelling better than midfield on the grandstand side for a fifth win over the straight 1,000m from 13 starts. He was first-up off 259 days after a lameness issue but goes very well nice and fresh. Trillion Win wouldn't go down without a fight after briefly hit the lead near the 200m after a prominent run. He was able to build on a near 1,200m win last start. Winner Method ran on nicely from towards the rear to fill a placing. He has yet to miss a top-three spot in six starts over this course and distance. Metro Warrior gradually faded after getting pressured for the front. He's a 1,000m specialist. Family Folks ran on without menacing from towards the rear. He's a Valley 1,200m horse. Ping Hai Galaxy couldn't stay with them over the final 150m after chasing the speed on the far side from a low draw. Winning Dreamer faded after vying for the front from a low draw. Ima Single Man struggled at the back trying the straight 1,000m for the first time. Whizz Kid tamely faded after sharing the lead for the first 400m out. He's on his mark.
