Charity Grace came from a distant last and widest out from gate 14 to overhaul favourite Copartner Ambition 50m out. The win was not a surprise after catching the eye in his opening two runs following a suspensory injury. Copartner Ambition did everything right but get the win after hitting the front 100m out after a patient ride third last from a wide draw. He's close to a win after making a strong impression in back-to-back runs for his new trainer. Oscar Glory kept on gamely to just hold third after claiming the lead from Circuit Mighty 400m out stalking the speed from a wide draw. He'll get away with a race shortly. Plunged late Dragon Fortune stayed on well along the inside to nearly place after a rails run fore of midfield. It was a return to form after disappointing three times following a win. Super Ten just missed the frame after a box-seat run. He requires rating relief. Super Dynamite ran on without menacing after a one-off trip in midfield. It was just another typical performance. The Hulk ran on without menacing after making his run among the backmarkers. He's not genuine. Circuit Mighty was stopping badly over the final 200m after dictating the run. He's destined for a downgrade.

Racing Incident Report

Race Ten: (443) - CALIFORNIA MEMORY HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1400Meters

SUPER TEN lifted its front feet off the ground as the start was effected.

CONGRATULATION and NOWITZKI bumped at the start.

CIRCUIT MIGHTY and COPARTNER AMBITION also bumped on jumping.

OSCAR GLORY shifted out at the start and inconvenienced CHARITY GRACE.

Passing the 1300 Metres, CONGRATULATION raced tight between SUPER TEN and NOWITZKI which shifted in.

After being ridden along in the early stages, CHARITY GRACE was shifted across behind runners passing the 1300 Metres.

Passing the 1000 Metres, CONGRATULATION and NOWITZKI raced tight.

Near the 900 Metres, CONGRATULATION was steadied when crowded for room inside SUPER DYNAMITE (A Badel) which shifted in before being directed out to relieve the tightening to CONGRATULATION.

A Badel was severely reprimanded and told to ensure that he is properly clear of other runners when shifting ground.

After the 900 Metres, NOWITZKI was left racing wide and without cover.

Passing the 400 Metres, CHARITY GRACE was shifted out away from the heels of COPARTNER AMBITION which, when improving to the outside of CONGRATULATION, was taken wide by that horse.

Approaching the 300 Metres, DRAGON FORTUNE raced tight inside OSCAR GLORY which shifted in under pressure.

Passing the 200 Metres, COPARTNER AMBITION shifted in under pressure and inconvenienced CONGRATULATION.

STOICISM, which was racing to the inside of CONGRATULATION, momentarily raced in restricted room between that horse and SUPER DYNAMITE.

For the majority of the race, STOICISM travelled wide and without cover.

CHARITY GRACE and COPARTNER AMBITION were sent for sampling.
