My Sugar let down nicely to take control 60m out after a perfect ride one off the fence in fifth to ring up a third win from seven starts. It was a superb training feat to get him back in top shape following fetlock surgery in March and there's clearly more up his sleeve. Sensationally-backed newcomer Gorytus stayed on well to grab second on the wire after a prominent run along the fence. He clearly has a future in Hong Kong and is bred to get a longer trip. Super Winner ended up third after straightening two lengths in front. He doesn't know how to produce a bad run over this trip. The Golden Scenery ran on steadily to just lose a placing late after a wide with cover run in midfield. He cost punters as the favourite after finishing second in both starts last season but there's clearly a win coming shortly. Heza Beauty made some ground late after biding his time third from the rear. It wasn't a bad effort carrying co-top weight. Specked late Invincible Missile ran on all right after a ducking-and-weaving settling last from a wide draw. He should have finished closer and isn't far off a bottom. Super Ten was a non-factor travelling behind midfield after a slow start.

Racing Incident Report

Race Ten: (28) - KWUN TONG HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1400Meters

SUPER TEN was slow to begin.

From wide barriers, INVINCIBLE MISSILE, HEZA BEAUTY and WIN WIN were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Despite being ridden along in the early stages, GIFT OF LIFELINE failed to muster speed and was shifted across behind runners from a wide barrier.

HEZA BEAUTY had some difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the Straight.

When being shifted to the outside of GOLFMAN STAR to obtain clear running, INVINCIBLE MISSILE was awkwardly placed close to the heels of that horse passing the 200 Metres.

Close to the finishing line, INVINCIBLE MISSILE was awkwardly placed inside the heels of HEZA BEAUTY (B Shinn) which shifted in from behind THE GOLDEN SCENERY.

In this incident, B Shinn attempted to straighten his mount.

As a result, HEZA BEAUTY was not able to be ridden out all the way to the end of the race.

Throughout the race, MOERAKI travelled wide and without cover.

A veterinary inspection of SUPER TEN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

THE GOLDEN SCENERY, MY SUGAR and GORYTUS were sent for sampling.

After the running of Race 1, the track classification for the turf course was officially changed from "Good??to "Good to Firm?? This change in the opinion of the Stewards should be recorded as being retrospective.

As a consequence of this, the official results will show Race 1 being run on a track rated "Good to Firm?? SUMMARY:
