Racing Incident Report
Race Two: (564) - TAI KOK TSUI HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1000Meters
SPEEDY MISSILE, Standby Declared Starter, was withdrawn on 11.4.20 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore).
Before being allowed to race again, SPEEDY MISSILE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
TIGERLAD shifted out abruptly at the start and bumped PRAWN YEAH YEAH which was hampered.
WHISTLE UP was slow to begin and then was crowded for room between BELLA BABY and HARBOUR ALERT, both of which shifted ground.
Passing the 700 Metres, BELLA BABY, which was racing keenly, got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of FAIRY FLOSS.
DEMONS ROCK was held up for clear running passing the 400 Metres and near the 300 Metres raced very tight with WHISTLE UP as both horses attempted to improve into running between ROMAN ODYSSEY and JIMSON THE DRAGON.
WHISTLE UP and DEMONS ROCK continued to race tight outside ROMAN ODYSSEY near the 250 Metres as that horse itself raced tight outside U W BROTHER.
DEMONS ROCK was then able to obtain a run near the 200 Metres whilst WHISTLE UP remained held up for clear running until passing the 100 Metres.
TREASURE CHEST was shifted in across the heels of HARBOUR ALERT passing the 200 Metres to obtain clear running and then approaching the 50 Metres raced tight outside FAIRY FLOSS and inside HARBOUR ALBERT which shifted in.
Passing the 100 Metres, ROMAN ODYSSEY was shifted in away from the heels of DEMONS ROCK which shifted in under pressure.
A veterinary inspection of TREASURE CHEST, HARBOUR ALERT and FAIRY FLOSS immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
JIMSON THE DRAGON, PRAWN YEAH YEAH and DEMONS ROCK were sent for sampling.

Prawn Yeah Yeah dashed well to take control near the 100m after a midfield run in the center of the track following a tardy start. He was one of the luckier runs in transit but is an effective 1,000m horse at both tracks in this grade. Punted late Demons Rock closed well to finish a clear-cut second after being held up for a run near the outside until the last 120m when trying to improve from behind midfield. Drifting favourite Jimson The Famous found a couple too good in the end after going to the front 250m out following a handy run on the outside fence. It was another honest effort but he's limited. Whistle Up should have placed if not getting boxed up for a run until the last 50m making his run on the stands side following a slow start. Bella Baby ran on steadily to just miss the frame after being held up for a run from the 500m until the 350m travelling worse than midfield. It was a positive first effort in the grade carrying top weight but he'll need to prove himself beyond the straight 1,000m going forward. U W Brother was stopping 100m out after narrowly making the run from gate five. He's still looking for a bottom.
