Police have found three more suspected handguns in the home of the suspect involved in Tuesday's shooting in Taikoo Shing, reports local media.
Also according to local media, the 44-year-old suspect, Ada Tsim Sum-kit, is an overseas-trained bodyguard who ran a security company in Hong Kong.
Of the three guns, two were models and the third was an air gun. Police says the gun used in the shooting may have been smuggled into Hong Kong piece by piece and assembled here.
The shooting was allegedly over a dispute regarding Tsim's grandmother's inheritance.
Of the victims, all of whom were Tsim's relatives, her 62-year-old uncle remained in critical condition. The two other victims, Tsim's 72-year-old uncle and 60-year-old aunt, were shot in the shoulder and hand, and taken to hospital. The uncle’s condition has improved from critical to serious, while the aunt remained stable, a government spokesman said on Wednesday.
Police have classified the case as murder and attempted murder.

Police also confirmed they arrested a 44-year old woman who is suspected to be involved in the shooting.
What to do if you hear gun shots in Hong Kong
Security staff at Cityplaza, a shopping mall near the park, assisted the police in apprehending the suspect. She was reportedly calm and did not resist arrest. According to Hui, initial investigation show she has no history of mental illness.
A semi-automatic hand-gun was found on the suspect when she was arrested. The gun is not a model used by the police force, and investigations are still underway as to how she got hold of the weapon.
The victims, aged between 50 and 72, suffered gunshot wounds to different parts of their bodies. Hui confirmed there were head injuries, and damage to the arms between the victims, but did not specify any further. Two of the victims remain in critical condition at Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital in Chai Wan.
Initial investigations also confirm that only four shots were fired. Police say the suspect acted alone, and the motive was likely due to a family conflict.
Police confirmed that the suspect and victims were all family members, but would not confirm earlier reports by local media outlets that the four victims are siblings. Police said that the victims and the suspect had arranged to meet in the park before the shooting took place.
The case is now being handled by Team Two B of the Regional Crimes Unit Hong Kong Island Headquarters.
