Forbes magazine is famous for its “30 under 30” annual list, which celebrates the achievements of entrepreneurs who are younger than 30. Looks like they should add an “18 under 18”. Hillary Yip, 11, and Sasha Varlamov, 17, are both Hong Kong-based business owners who have redefined what it means to be a “young” and successful entrepreneur. They were stars of the MinorMynas Fireside Chat for Kids on Saturday.

Sasha stressed the importance of not abiding by self-imposed limits, citing his personal background in coding as a testament to the benefits of constantly striving for new levels of achievement.

The talk also featured major business figures such as William Tang, one of the best-known designers in Hong Kong, and Dr Winnie Tang, Founder and Chairman of Esri China.

Stay tuned for further story on the young entrepreneurs in Sunday Young Post.
