Big decisions have to be made by lots of students this week as university offers are announced

A third of the 69,000 applicants have been admitted into degrees or sub-degrees. About 83 per cent were admitted to one of their top three course choices.
Our Lady of the Rosary College graduate Edelweiss Tuet revealed on her social media that she's going to be studying at the University of Hong Kong's (HKU) law school.
YP junior reporter Daniella Dizon told Young Post that she is "beyond ecstatic" to be accepted into HKU's Bachelor of Arts - her first choice. "I honestly did not expect to get a place at HKU because it's so competitive and I know there are thousands of brilliant students out there. I feel truly blessed," she said.
St Mary's Canossian College graduate Rachel Wong wrote that she almost screamed on the MTR when she discovered that she was accepted into HKU's Bachelor of Arts (Literary Studies) and Bachelor of Law programme.
Nine of the 12 top scorers are going to study at HKU - five have chosen to study medicine. Two other students who scored seven 5** will attend Chinese University.
On average, students admitted to HKU had scored 28 in their top five subjects, and those admitted to Polytechnic University had scored 24. A total of 1,535 local students have been accepted to institutions on the mainland, up from 1,300 last year.
Students have to decide whether to accept their offers by paying an acceptance fee of HK$5000 by 5pm today at the latest. Students who haven't been accepted to any programme have another chance during the clearing round which will be announced on August 25.
