A 27-year-old US citizen was deported from the Indonesian island of Bali on Monday after a violent outburst at a local medical clinic.

The incident involving the man, identified by his initials as MM, shouting threats and destroying property was captured in a video that has since gone viral on the internet.

Footage depicts the tourist, clad only in his underwear, screaming and toppling a medical cabinet in an examination room in tourist hotspot Badung.

The man lets out a string of expletives before demanding that the cameraman stop recording. Patients and staff can be heard crying and pleading with him to stop his rampage.

But the man goes on to rip the privacy curtain around the bed where an older woman patient and several nurses are, clearly terrifying them.

Another shirtless man, who has been identified as MM’s friend, can be heard trying to defuse the situation and asking others to help move the patient and nurses outside.
