Two-time Olympic champion freestyle skier Eileen Gu spoke on April 1, 2025, about her excitement in preparing to defend her titles at the 2026 Winter Olympics. The US-born athlete took up Chinese citizenship before competing for Team China at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. She spoke at Watches and Wonders 2025, an event organised by Swiss luxury watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen in Switzerland’s capital, Geneva.
