Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam says everyone must ‘learn a lesson’ from city’s year of protests

One year since anti-government protests erupted in Hong Kong over a now-withdrawn extradition bill, the city’s Chief Executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor, said on June 9, 2020, that everyone including the government must “learn a lesson” from the chaos.
