China’s Unitree ships more than 5,500 humanoid robots in 2025, surpassing US peers
The Hangzhou-based firm’s output far outstripped the roughly 150 units each shipped by Tesla, Figure AI and Agility Robotics last year

Unitree saw its annual output exceed 6,000 units, according to the source. Both the shipment and output figures excluded wheeled models and the firm’s other robot products, the person said.
Unitree declined to comment on the figures, which were first reported on Monday by Chinese tech media outlet 36Kr.
The reported shipments would put Unitree at the forefront of the country’s top humanoid robot manufacturers last year, as the industry accelerated commercialisation efforts amid growing competition.
In separate reports earlier this month, Omdia and Counterpoint Research both ranked AgiBot on top of the global humanoid robot market in terms of shipments and installations.
