Alibaba Group Holding’s cloud computing services subsidiary on Thursday said its infrastructure is supporting Genshin Impact creator miHoYo’s latest global hit video game, Honkai: Star Rail, which continues a decade-long relationship with the renowned Shanghai-based studio.

Honkai: Star Rail, released outside mainland China via miHoYo’s global publishing subsidiary HoYoverse, is a role-playing anime game that serves as the fourth instalment of the developer’s Honkai series, which is set in a fictional multiverse.

Alibaba Cloud said in a statement that it provides “high-performance and stable computing resources that allow the game to run stably and smoothly”, as Honkai: Star Rail requires large-scale resource deployment and strong infrastructure support capabilities.
