Barcelona coach Luis Enrique has placed his expectations even higher after his side took their tally to 14 goals in eight days with a 4-0 rout of Real Sociedad on Saturday.

Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez were again the stars of the show as they were all on target to take the South American trio's combined total in 2015 to an incredible 125 goals.

Victory moved Barca nine points clear of eternal rivals Real Madrid, who face Eibar on Sunday, at the top of La Liga just a week after inflicting a humiliating 4-0 defeat on Los Blancos at the Santiago Bernabeu.

However, having also guided Barca to a treble of La Liga, Champions League and Copa del Rey last season, Enrique refused to admit he was experiencing his sweetest moment as Barca boss.

“What interests me is to see that the team is at a very high level,” he said.

“It is normal to have ups and downs in any season. I am not that interested in whether it is the best moment because I always hope the best moment is still to come.

“It is not a cliche, there is a long way to go and we will all drop points between now and the end of the season.
