TROUBLE IN RUNNING

EIGHTY LIGHT YEARS (H170) was withdrawn on the day before raceday by order of the Stewards acting on vet advice (lame left fore) . Has since passed an official vet exam - Race 416.

HAPPY BOSS (K453) jumped only fairly and then was crowded. Bumped near the 400M - Race 402.

LET'S HAVE FUN (L118) raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event - Race 422.

FLYING KNIGHT (K370) after passing the 300M was checked when disappointed for clear running - Race 418.

TYCOON EXPRESS (K376) from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Between the 400M and the 300M had difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted out - Race 477.

AMAZING DUCK (H392) jumped only fairly - Race 441.

BIG RETURN (K192) jumped awkwardly and lost ground - Race 461.

MADE FOR LIFE (L005) rider reported that from the outside barrier his instructions were to ride the horse in a conservative manner, similar to the way it was ridden when it barrier trialed on 26 January 2026. He added in the Home Straight his mount raced greenly and finished the race off only fairly. After the race was examined by the vet who said an endoscopic exam showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Has since passed an official vet exam - Race 445.

SPECIAL HEDGE (H354) rider stated that his mount jumped well from the outside barrier and as a result settled in a more forward position than intended. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event - Race 437.

PERIDOT (K148) bumped heavily on jumping. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 461.

THE ALL ROUNDER (K402) jumped only fairly - Race 477.

BRIGHT DAY (J530) bumped on the hindquarters on jumping. Rider stated that from the outside barrier he was instructed to endeavour to go forward. He said when his mount commenced well he rode it along to comply with his instructions but unable to cross runners to his inside and was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event - Race 461.
