TROUBLE IN RUNNING

ALMIGHTY LIGHTNING (L126) on jumping was bumped heavily on the hindquarters and became unbalanced - Race 455.

SUPER SIXTY (J071) after being crossed near the 700M commenced to race keenly and was steadied to avoid a runner - Race 388.

SEA DIAMOND (L072) post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 459.

STAR PERFORMER (K207) near the 300M raced tight. Rider stated that his mount jumped only fairly, shifted in and made contact with a runner and then settled slightly further back than anticipated. He said in the Home Straight his mount did not respond to his riding. After the race was examined by the vet who found that horse to be lame in its right front leg, and an endoscopic examination also showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Has since passed an official vet exam - Race 489.

FALCON HUNTER (K503) was withdrawn on the day before raceday by order of the Stewards on vet advice (lame left hind) . Has since passed an official vet exam - Race 489.

STAR PERFORMER (K207) 04/03/2026 Lame right front leg after racing and substantial blood in trachea noted on post-race scoping. (passed on 19/03/2026).

FALCON HUNTER (K503) 03/03/2026 Lame left hind. Withdrawn from racing. (passed on 26/03/2026).
