Racing Incident Report
Race Four : (224) - HANKOW HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 ONE FOR ALL (G012) L Ferraris After the event, L Ferraris reported that his mount was disadvantaged by being pressured in the lead by SUNNY DARLING and MARK THE MOMENT and as a consequence did not respond to his riding in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea.
Before being allowed to race again, ONE FOR ALL will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 2 MARK THE MOMENT (H088) P N Wong Shifted out at the start and was bumped.
After the event, Apprentice P N Wong stated that her instructions were to lead but despite riding her mount along was unable to cross runners to her inside in the early stages and as a result MARK THE MOMENT raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
She added that as a consequence her mount did not run on when placed under pressure in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 4 SUNNY DARLING (J171) C Y Ho Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 5 NEBRASKAN (J304) J McDonald Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 MY FLYING ANGEL (J174) A Atzeni Jumped only fairly.
For a short distance near the 450 Metres raced tight to the inside of KA YING WARRIOR.
Horse No 7 SKY DEEP (K041) A Hamelin Jumped only fairly.
After the event, A Hamelin reported that his mount, which was having its second race start, hung in approaching the 900 Metres and making the turn shortly after hung out across REGENT GLORY and was checked to avoid that runner.
The racing manners of SKY DEEP were considered unacceptable.
Before being allowed to race again, SKY DEEP will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial around a bend in Hong Kong.
Horse No 9 ACE POWER (J181) L Hewitson Jumped only fairly.
After the event, L Hewitson stated that despite riding his mount along in the early stages it showed a lack of speed and became detached from the field.
He added under pressure in the Home Straight ACE POWER finished the race off reasonably well.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 10 REGENT GLORY (E323) B Thompson On jumping was bumped by MARK THE MOMENT which shifted out.

Aca Power ran on from second last down the outside to get up in the final few strides for a fifth win from 42 starts and fourth from 19 starts over the surface and trip. Nebraskan kept on well for second after a prominent run wide without cover from a tricky gate. He relished a return to the dirt after staying on for fifths in two of his first three on the turf this season. Favourite Sunny Darling lost second late after claiming the lead 300m out sitting one off with cover behind the leading pair. He's gone well once on each surface after a win on this surface. Punted late Shanghai Style stayed on well for fourth after getting posted very wide without cover travelling midfield from gate 12. He is a winner waiting to happen from a better gate. Hinokami Kagura made a decent bid late after making his run towards the rear following a slow start. He's honest on this surface but has trouble winning. Regent Glory held his ground after a one-off trip from midfield.
