Race Nine : (9) - YI TUNG SHAN HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 FIRST LOVE (J355) L Ferraris After the event, L Ferraris reported that his mount made a respiratory noise on pulling up.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 2 SUPER FORTUNE (G065) M F Poon Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 YUEN LONG ELITE (J272) M L Yeung Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 4 CHAMPION METHOD (H366) C Y Ho After the event, C Y Ho reported that after racing tight to the inside of GENEVA near the 500 Metres, his mount immediately came under pressure and did not finish the race off well thereafter.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 11 HAPPY FOR ALL (H181) K C Leung Near the 500 Metres became unbalanced when momentarily positioned tight to the inside of CHAMPION METHOD when that runner shifted in and away from GENEVA.

Matthew Poon Ming-fai dictated proceedings to perfection aboard Super Fortune, who did enough in the closing stages to narrowly deny two fast-finishing rivals. The Tony Cruztrained seven-year-old relished a return to this level for the first time since his debut in October 2021 but may struggle up in grade. Harold Win has been a consistent customer without getting his head in front and took one step closer to his maiden win in Hong Kong. After he broke quickly from gate 12, the Francis Lui Kin-wai-trained four-year-old sat in second throughout but never looked like reeling in the winner. The well-backed Geneva settled in midfield and hit the line powerfully in third. He continues to disappoint punters and has failed to justify favouritism five times. Master Mastermind was never in contention after travelling in the rear but made late headway and ran on well to finish fourth. Yuen Long Elite settled third and weakened when he came under pressure.
