Racing Incident Report
Race Eight : (780) - SHA TAU KOK RIVER HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1650Meters
Horse No 1 SPLENDID LIVING (E192) A Atzeni Shifted out at the start and was bumped.
Near the 1500 Metres was steadied when crowded by HELENE WARRIOR which was taken in by MASSIVE ACTION (H T Mo).
H T Mo was advised to exercise more care.
After the race, A Atzeni reported that his mount came under pressure on the Home Turn and after being crowded near the 250 Metres when GALLANT WAKING (C L Chau) shifted in, his mount finished the race off in a disappointing manner thereafter.
C L Chau was advised to exercise more care.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 2 HAMERON (H265) H Bowman Bumped shortly after the start.
Horse No 3 SUPREME AGILITY (J267) C Y Ho Jumped awkwardly and then was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Near the 1500 Metres was bumped by ROMANTIC LAOS which shifted in.
A short distance later was steadied to avoid CHAIN OF GOLD.
Horse No 4 GALLANT WAKING (G165) C L Chau Crowded on jumping by SPLENDID LIVING which shifted out.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 5 HELENE WARRIOR (J207) L Hewitson Raced keenly in the early and middle stages.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 ROMANTIC LAOS (G476) K C Leung From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Horse No 9 ROCKET SPADE (G170) H Bentley Jumped only fairly and then shortly after the start was crowded between HAMERON and CHAIN OF GOLD which shifted in.
Horse No 11 KING GLORIOSO (J247) A Badel From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Near the 1450 Metres became unbalanced when it appeared to shift out away from a shadow on the track and also when racing tight to the inside of SUPREME AGILITY.
Horse No 12 CHAIN OF GOLD (J138) K Teetan Bumped shortly after the start.
Approaching the 1500 Metres was steadied to avoid HAMERON when racing keenly.
Was noted to be galloped on the left hind leg after the race.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 8 BEAUTY INFINITY (H377) Z Purton Was withdrawn prior to the race by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice when it was found to have a heart abnormality.
Before being allowed to race again, BEAUTY INFINITY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Following further assessment of the heart abnormality, the Stewards will consider if any further action is taken against the horse.

Chain Of Gold showed a good turn of foot down the outside to reel in stablemate Romantic Laos in the closing stages after a patient ride in third last for a first win after placing in three of his first seven local runs. Specked late, Romantic Laos found one just too good after circling the field from near the rear to eventually lead 150m out. It was a solid run in defeat from gate 11. Hameron had his chance but found a couple too smart after settling one off the rail in just worse than midfield. He should find a race shortly in this grade. Supreme Agility ran on well for fourth after making his run one from the rear. He is naturally acclimatising on his three local starts. Favourite Helene Warrior had his chance but only plodded after a box-seat run. He couldn't cope carrying four pounds more following a win. Punted late, Capital Legend was on his tippy toes over the last 100m after going for home on top 500m out following a pace-stalking run outside Massive Action. Rocket Spade whacked on one-paced after a handy run with cover. It was another costly run with late market action.
